CAF Confirms 24-Team AFCON 2027 Format, Ends Expansion Speculation
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will feature 24 teams. The announcement ends speculation about a possible expansion to 28 teams.
